Harringtons hand crafted smallgoods are made the traditional old-fashioned way:

Our sausages are all in NATURAL CASINGS

We use fresh New Zealand meat, fresh from the farm

The recipes are mainly European style, adapted to suit the New Zealand environment, with natural seasonings, NOT ARTIFICIAL FLAVOURINGS

Smoked products are naturally smoked using Manuka wood chips, NOT INJECTED WITH SMOKE FLAVOUR

Our bacon is dry cured; that means its not pumped full of water that comes out when its cooked. The dry curing process also imparts excellent flavour and keeping quality.
Harringtons products are better for your health:

Wherever possible we use free-range grain fed pork that has NO ADDED HORMONES, ANTIBIOTICS OR ANIMAL BY-PRODUCTS given to the pigs. They are fed only on a special GRAIN DIET. The main protein source is soybean meal. The diet is GE-FREE.

The free range pork we use is rich in OMEGA-3 DHA, IRON and CO-ENZYME Q10. No other pork has these health-giving properties, which are proven by independent testing undertaken by Massey University.

Many of our products are GLUTEN-FREE (ask which ones) and we use a minimum of any processing additives.
