We create our smallgoods the old-fashioned way, right here in New Zealand. There may be faster ways, cheaper ways and probably easier ways, but we don’t think there are any better ways when you’re passionate about quality.

For the best bacon, adding nothing is everything.

Our delicious bacon is crafted the old-fashioned way starting with premium 100% New Zealand pork certified by Pigcare™ New Zealand, which we rate as a high standard for animal welfare. Our bacon is dry-cured and manuka smoked and we add no water, so it’s guaranteed not to shrink when you cook it and you can enjoy the beautiful flavour and texture of traditional bacon.

 

All our bacon is guaranteed gluten-free.

Danish bacon

The deliciousness of Danish bacon inspired us to craft our own version right here with superb traditionally dry-cured and manuka smoked 100% New Zealand pork. With no added water there is no shrinkage and loads more flavour.

We don’t bang out bangers.

We craft proper sausages to our own special recipes, with top quality ingredients like free-range locally-raised pork, 100% natural seasoning and not a nasty additive in sight. While some sausage-makers use filler to bulk-up their bangers, we snarl at anything that doesn’t make a delicious authentic sausage. Fresh or continental, the better the ingredients, the more satisfying the sausage.
